Sheath wire can actually be understood as two or three parallel BV wires. BV wires originally have insulating rubber, and a layer of rubber is wrapped around three or two parallel BV wires. This layer of rubber is the sheath wire. Sheathed wire is also the most commonly used household wire, usually composed of three cores or two cores.

Sheath wires can be divided into two types: hard jacket wires (BVV, BVVB, BLVV, BLVVB) and soft jacket wires (RVV, RVVB). According to its application environment and shape, it can also be divided into round sheath wire and flat sheath wire. The round sheath wire is generally multi-core, and the flat wire is generally single-core.
